Scott Arsenault has appeared on stage in Kingston for almost 20 years. He was in many Domino Theatre productions including Skin Flick, A Comedy Of Tenors, Kiss the Sun Kiss the Moon, Humble Boy, A Christmas Carol and Over the River and Through the Woods. He has performed in several plays at the Domino Theatre Come Play By the Lake One Act Festival including the premier of Nutz last year. He was Fred in the Spire’s Everything I Know I Learned in Kindergarten. He served two terms on the Domino Theatre Board of Directors. He has made a career of asking “Have you turned it off and back on again?” His favourite colour is green; lucky number is 4; and believes ice cream should be a food group.

Lloyd Balme can be found lurking around Domino Theatre both on and backstage. In addition to Nutz, he’s done sound design for Dial M for Murder and Brighton Beach Memoirs. He appeared in 1969 in 2025’s TK Fringe. 

Kate Barker is grateful to the crew and cast that brought Nutz to life. Nutz is Kate’s first play in 30 years and marks the resurrection of Southpaw Productions. Nutz won the People’s Preference Award at Domino Theatre’s Come Play By the Lake One Act Festival in July 2025. Kate has also appeared in some Domino productions, including Unity 1918, Brighton Beach Memoirs and A Trip to Bountiful. She will appear in Domino’s Innocence Lost in October. Kate’s first two plays, Bantering the Unanswerable and Army of Lovers? were staged in Kingston in the1990s. Both went on to be produced and workshopped respectively in Toronto at Nightwood Theatre’s Groundswell Festival and at Tallulah’s Cabaret at Buddies in Bad Times Theatre. In June, Kate enjoyed the staged reading of her latest play, Fat, through Domino Theatre’s New Play Readings. Fat was also workshopped in a course run by playwright Marcia Johnson through Tarragon Theatre.

Michael Capon has enjoyed a lifelong involvement in theatre as an actor, musician, composer, and lyricist. As an actor, he recently played Dr Wyatt in Witness For The Prosecution, and Jack in Brighton Beach Memoirs, both at Domino Theatre. As a musician, he recently music directed Into The Woods and Carrie for Queen’s Musical Theatre. Be sure to catch Michael’s other Fringe show, music directing for Rulers, a musical comedy that features Michael’s original tunes. Looking ahead, Michael will music direct the premiere productions of two of his own original musical comedies: Cinderella in November-December, as part of the Domino Theatre season, and Odysseus Cruise Lines in March, as part of the Bottle Tree Studio Series.

Julie Darke is reprising her role of Snoop in Nutz. She is untrained and inexperienced (didn’t even take drama in high school) and has little knowledge of the craft or the business of “blocking.” Nevertheless, her enthusiasm overrides both her lack of knowledge and her stage fright. She is excited to embody the mischievous and loveable Snoop once more. Credits to her name include a small part in Kate’s first play, Bantering the Unanswerable and a stint as a drag king, both a very long time ago. 

Katie Flower-Smith has been involved in theatre in Kingston for 50 years, mostly with Domino Theatre. In addition to “treading the boards,” she has directed, stage managed, and has designed and run both lights and sound. Most recently she directed Very Heaven at Domino Theatre. She is thrilled to be appearing in Nutz!

Naomi Greer-Ballance is delighted to be reprising the role of Pat in Nutz at this year’s Kingston Fringe Festival. Naomi’s recent local credits include playing Susan in Two Actresses (Bottle Tree Productions), Christiane in La déprime (Les Tréteaux de Kingston), and the iconic Susanna Moodie in At My Heart’s Core (Domino Theatre). When she isn’t performing, Naomi enjoys running and spending quality time with her husband and their beloved furry freeloaders.

Kim Henderson is the second half of Southpaw Productions. She is an artist and reluctant assistant stage manager, but she wouldn’t dream of missing out on being a part of Nutz again. She enjoyed working with the crew and cast and has a knack for props, set construction and design. She looks forward to future adventures with her wife Kate Barker and Southpaw Productions. Kim does not like the cold or being the centre of attention, hence the headshot.

Lorna Jodoin is an educator and theatre artist based in Kingston. For the past 13 years, she has mainly worked with Domino Theatre, where she assists with set construction and painting, and she also crafts sound designs for various shows. Lorna has appeared on stage in productions such as Calendar Girls, Steel Magnolias, and most recently, Very Heaven (June 2026). In addition to acting, she has directed numerous one-act plays for competitions and refined her talents by leading full-length productions during Domino’s regular season. Her latest achievement as a director was the well-received and successful staging of Suite Surrender in March 2026

Anna Lindgren-Tanga is excited to be part of the revival production of Nutz alongside such a talented team. She began her theatre journey with Theatre 5 and later worked with the Great Canadian Theatre Company, Ottawa Shakespeare Company, and Opera Lyra. Anna is a member of the Domino Theatre Board of Directors and has enjoyed supporting several recent Domino productions behind the scenes, including Very Heaven, Suite Surrender, and Wit.

Kyla Todd is excited to be part of the Fringe again this year, playing Sal in Southpaw Production’s Nutz. As an actor, some of her past productions include Surely Sherlock, Madeline, An evening of Ives (Bottletree); Same Time Next Year, Unity 1918 and The Mollycoddlers (Domino Theatre). Recent musical productions include We will Rock You, Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat and 9-5, (The Meistersingers). Kyla has also worked behind the scenes on a variety of productions; she enjoys painting sets and creating giant art pieces. She hopes you enjoy the show!
